Flowering Plum Is Giving It’s Annual Burst Of Color

We have enjoyed this  tree for the last several years.  It’s leaves come on after it has bloomed, and are a very dark red color.  We have never pruned this tree, but we will need to soon, or it will overhang the deck and eventually the house.

The Shepherdess Suite Gets New Fireplace

We are always looking for ways to improve our rooms, and a corner fireplace seemed like a natural choice for the Shepherdess Suite.  It gives the room a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, as well as adding a little heat in the winter time.
